It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Denham Cartwright on June 20, 2026, at the age of 28. Born on June 12, 1998 to Cheryl Cartwright and Brian Cartwright, Denham was a loving brother, a fierce protector, and a loyal friend to everyone who knew him.

Growing up, he was always the one making everyone laugh with unlimited puns while also giving his heart to everyone…. His passion for his music, and his dedication to family and friends defined so much of his life. Though his time with us was cut too short, the memories, laughter, and wisdom he shared will stay with us forever.

He leaves behind his son Dreaton Cartwright, mother Cheryl Cartwright, brother Justin Searle, grandmother Marie Cartwright, grandmother June Gordon, among so many other family members, friends, and a lifetime of wonderful memories. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Denham’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home, Orillia.
