David Allan

Peacefully passed away at the Atrium Retirement Residence on Monday, June 17, 2024, at the age of 98. Now reunited with his beloved bride the late Betty Jean (nee: Oke). Predeceased by his parents David & Marion Allan and siblings Bill and Dorothy. Favourite uncle of Cheryl & her husband Gerald Cormier, Cynthia & her husband Randall Jones, Rosemary, Gordon Terrill Brown, Derek Brown, Verne Brown and great uncle of Sharla Nyland & husband Keir and Lisa Thornton. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Morris and sisters-in-law Joyce and Lauretta. Dear friend of Alberta Davies. 

David will be remembered as a proud WWII Veteran and former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #34, Orillia. As per David's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the SPCA - Orillia Branch or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated and can be made through the Mundell Funeral Home.
