Passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on February 23, 2026, in his 60th year.

Beloved husband to Dora Vandereyken for over 35 years. Loving and devoted father to Maire (Cody) and Rylan. Proud grandfather to Hudson. Dear son of Carol Ann Cummings (Peter Davidson). Cherished nephew of Elizabeth and Judith. Chris will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Chris will be remembered for his deep, quiet love and appreciation for his family & those closest to him, but not without a little bit of mischief as he was known to plot many silly pranks whether at a family gathering, or messing with the neighbours. He fought a long, courageous battle with cancer for the last two years with valiance and dignity. He hardly complained and never lost the love and joy his family brought him. Our lives won’t be the same.
