entered peacefully into the presence of his Saviour on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Mariposa House Hospice, Orillia, at the age of 83.  Bruce is predeceased by his dear wife of 62 years, Phyllis.  A devoted father to Kim (Dean), Rod (Cynthia), and Stuart (Bonnie).  A loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren: Celeste (Daryl), Lucas (Elizabeth), Joel (Michelle), Anne (Matt), Emily and Julia (predeceased), Nancy (Jon), Jenny, Julie, Jessica (Alex) and Curtis.  Great Grandfather of Zephan, Zion, Zalia, Eli and Gabe.   Bruce had a successful career with Ontario Hydro working up from lineman to line crew foreman in Barrie, Markdale, Stayner, Orillia and Fenelon Falls.  He had a heart for missions, participating in three mission work trips to Haiti and Ecuador.  Bruce was also a member of the Orillia Gideon camp for many years.  His hobbies included horseshoes, singing in the Orillia Jubilee Choir, woodworking, fishing and snowmobiling.  Bruce accepted Christ at an early age and raised his family in the Christian faith.  Husband, Father, Grandfather (Papa) and Great Grandfather, Bruce will be missed.  We are thankful for the heritage he has left us.  Following cremation, visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Friday, July 2nd, 2021 from 6 - 9 pm by appointment only. Due to the current COVID restrictions, attendance is limited and you must RSVP through the Mundell Funeral Home Website or please call (705) 325-2231 to schedule a visitation time.  If the visitation times are full, please call the Funeral Home to have your name placed on a waiting list.  A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orangeville.  In memory of Bruce, donations would be appreciated to Mariposa House Hospice, Orillia or Spotlight Church, Stratford and can be made through the Mundell Funeral Home (705)325-2231.  Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.mundellfuneralhome.com
