DOWNS, Beatrice Rae (nee: Faris) at Trillium Manor, Orillia, on Sunday, January 6th, 2019; in her 95th year. Beatrice Downs, formerly of Foxmead, beloved wife for 63 years of Johnston James Downs (predeceased 2006). Loving mother of Sharon & husband Doug Blunt of Eady, Marilyn & husband Larry Friesen of Coulson and Harold & wife Heather of Orillia. Grandmother of Michele Blunt & partner Lyle Barr, Jeff Blunt & wife Jenn, Jane Brand & husband Mike, David Friesen & wife Christine, and Hillary Downs. Great grandmother of Braden Clark, Owen, Ryleigh and Jordan Blunt and Conor Brand. Sister of Wilfred Faris & wife Carole, Ivan Faris, Jean Hunter (predeceased) and Joe Ball (predeceased). The late Beatrice Downs will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia on Friday, January 11th from 12 noon until the time of Funeral & Committal Service, in the chapel, at 2 o'clock. Spring Interment: Marchmont Cemetery.
