Barbara Anne Ley (nee: Morris)

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barbara Ley, on Thursday, April 9th, 2025, in her 80th year, at Mariposa House Hospice, surrounded by the love of her family. Barb is now reunited with her beloved husband, Ronald William Ley.

Loving mother of Rhonda Ley-Glass (Matt Burns) and Nicole Ley-Davies (Stuart). Devoted and proud Nana of Haley, Olivia, Alyssa, Jaxon, and Jorja. She will be sadly missed by her family friend, who was like a daughter, Lynn Daly and her children Sabrina and Joshua. Loved sister of Donald Morris (Velma) both predeceased, Paul Morris (Carol), Lynn Duncan (Bill), and Karen Lobraico (Rod). Dear sister-in-law of Carol Blunt (Don predeceased), John Ley (predeceased) (MaryAnne), and Rick Ley (Ellen). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Barb will be remembered as a woman full of strength and bravery. She took immense pride in supporting her grandchildren in every way possible and could always be found cheering them on from the sidelines.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Grieve, Bayshore Nursing, ParaMed, and the compassionate staff at Mariposa House Hospice for their exceptional care and support.

Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home on Monday, April 20th from 1 - 3 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Guardian Angels Church on Tuesday, April 21st at 1:30 p.m. Interment: St. Michael's Cemetery, Orillia. Parish prayers will be held Monday evening, April 20th at 6:30 p.m.
