Aubrey Edward McArthur

Passed peacefully at Leacock Care Centre on February 21, 2024, just after his 94th birthday. 

Beloved husband of Madeleine McArthur (nee McDonald) for 68 wonderful years. Dear father of Gerard (Debbie) and Suzanne (Phil). Much loved grandfather of Rebecca (Ranson), Bradley (Christine), Stephanie (David), and Matthew. Proud great-grandfather to Annabelle, Sophia, Jacob, Amelia, Zachary, Gabriel, and Jaxon. Dear son of Don and Bella McArthur, both predeceased. Dear brother of Don "Bud" McArthur (predeceased), Grace (Gerald, predeceased) Lawrie, George (Lorraine), Ron (predeceased) (Betty). Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Aubrey will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will take place on Monday, February 26, at Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia, from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held At St. Francis of Assisi Church, 3315 Muskoka Street, Washago, on Tuesday, February 27 at 2:00pm. A reception will follow in the Church Hall. Interment will take place at Sr. Joseph's Black River Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
