Amy was in her 96th year when she passed away peacefully at Spencer House in Orillia on Sunday, May 18, 2025. She was a long service retiree of G.E. Canada. Dear Aunt to many nieces and nephews, predeceased by her elder sisters, Jean and Mary and her elder brothers, Douglas, Roy, Eric and John. She will be remembered by her caring friends, who looked out for her while she lived in Elliot Lake. While in Elliot Lake, she participated in many bus trips and enjoyed the company of the bus drivers and taxi drivers who were so kind to her. The excellent care and the kindness she received at Spencer House in her final years was much appreciated by her family. A Memorial Service will take place at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia on Saturday, June 7th, 2025 at 1 pm, with a reception to follow. Private family interment at Sanctuary Park Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation to Sick Kids Foundation is requested to support the health of young children she enjoyed so much.
