It is with deep sadness, coupled with tremendous gratitude for all she did for me and others that I, Rob Murphy, announce the passing of my mother at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital December 10th, 2025

Cherished Grandmother (Gram!) to Charlie, Hunter and Lucinda.

Dear sister to twin brother Michael (deceased), Charlie (deceased), Lois (deceased), Alexander (deceased) and survived by siblings Bernie, Donna and Linda.

Remembered by many nieces, nephews and her community of friends.

Mom LOVED to volunteer (OSMH, Couchiching Jubilee House, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society and many other organizations)

She was a proud ‘Red Hatter’ and loved her fellow ladies in her purple dresses and big red hats. She had so many passions but we’ll especially miss her Christmas baking this year.

As a proud Christian woman active in many ministries mom requested that in lieu of flowers please direct any donations to Guardian Angels Church

A personal thank you to the nursing staff at OSMH, Dr Harmathy, and Paulette Tracey at Tracey House.

To her many friends who helped, visited and supported my mom over the years and as she became more ill take comfort in knowing that she often told me about each of you and your kindness. She valued your friendships very much!

Please join our family December the 22nd at 1:30pm for a Funeral Mass at Guardian Angels Church with a reception following.
