Aaltje "Alice" Louise Dikmans

Passed away at the home of her daughter Carla Seamont and her partner Kester Fitzpatrick on Monday, September 25, 2023, in her 90th year.  Predeceased by her beloved husband John Dikmans.  Loving mother of Carla Seamont & partner Kester Fitzpatrick and Ingrid Townson & partner Dave Gregg.  Cherished grandmother of Jason Seamont, Amanda Grove, Jennifer Seamont, David Townson, Anessa Townson, and Cody Townson.  Proud great grandmother of Avery, Alyvia, Amilya, Jaydan Seamont; Liam, Logan, and Eva Townson.  Sadly missed by her family in Holland.  Fondly remembered by her sisters Louise, Gerry, Mary, Tia, their families, and by her special friend Ralph Valle.
Alice always took care of the people around her.  Alice volunteered at Oak Terrace until her late seventies.  She was kind, generous, and funny.  Alice loved animals and could get the birds to feed out of her hand.  Alice would spend hours traversing around Orillia's side walks and trails.  She loved life and will be missed by all.  At Alice's request, there will be no visitation or service.  If desired, memorial donations to the Ontario SPCA Orillia Branch would be appreciated by the family.  Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.mundellfuneralhome.com
