Wayne Weaver passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026. He was a remarkable man whose kindness, strength, and selflessness touched the lives of many. Wayne was a gentle and steady presence, deeply loved by friends and family alike.

Wayne is survived by his daughters Connie Page and her husband Greg Page, and Karen Lambert and her husband Darren Lambert. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to his six grandchildren Shelby, Jessica (Dave), Amanda, Griffin (Melinda), Brandon (Amber), and Haley, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride. Wayne was also a cherished great uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Wayne will be fondly remembered for the simple pleasures that brought him happiness, including meals from local diners, camping trips in Algonquin Park, and many weekends spent at the river with close friends. A true family man, he found his greatest joy in time spent with those he loved.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Bracebridge Hospital for the kindness, compassion, and humour they shared with Wayne in the days leading up to his passing. Sincere gratitude is also extended to Mariposa Hospice in Orillia and all of their staff for the empathetic and dignified care they provided during his final days.

Wayne was predeceased by his wife Ella.

Wayne’s legacy is one of love, generosity, and quiet strength. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by the many lives he touched.
