With deep love and sadness, we share that Reid passed away peacefully in Orillia, surrounded by his family on Friday March 27, 2026, in his 73rd year.

Reid was the devoted husband of Sandy, his “Sam”, for 52 wonderful years. He was a loving father to Lynsey and Kimberly, and a proud Puppa to his beloved granddaughters, Lily and Shea, who brought him so much joy. He is predeceased by his dear parents Sidney and Margarette as well as his older brother, Bob (his wife Margaret). He is survived by his siblings, Kathy Gregson (her husband Keith) and Ron (and his wife Christine), who will miss him dearly.

Reid spent his career in advertising, retiring in 2018 from Cameron Advertising Displays. He took pride in his work and, more importantly, in the people he met along the way.

He and Sandy shared a love of travel that took them across much of the world, filling their lives with unforgettable experiences. In later years, Reid found his greatest contentment at home in Orillia, overlooking Lake Simcoe, a view he never tired of. Their home was a place where everyone felt welcome, and where friendships were strengthened over laughter, stories, and easy conversation.

He will be remembered for his warmth, his quick sense of humour, his generosity, and the way he made time spent together feel effortless and meaningful. Above all, Reid was a family man. The love he gave so freely to Sandy, his daughters, and his granddaughters will remain with them always.

He leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and quiet strength that will continue to live on in all who knew him.

Reid will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Following Cremation, visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Friday April 3, 2026 from 11 AM until time of Memorial Service at 1 PM. If desired, memorial donations to Mariposa House Hospice would be appreciated.
