Foessel, Lynda Margaret (nee Peck)

Surrounded by her family, it is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden & unexpected passing of our mother Lynda Foessel, at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia, on Friday, February 20th, 2026, in her 75th year. Loving and devoted wife of Claus Foessel of Oro-Medonte for 56 years. Cherished mother of Tracy (Stephen) Johnson of Alliston and Nicole (Nikki) Foessel of oro-Medonte. Loved Nana of Nicholas, Jake, Emily, Ryan and Nana (Great Grandmother) of Marleigh. Dear daughter of Margaret Peck (Lowes) of Orillia and the late Wilfred Peck. Dear sister of Larry Peck of Gravenhurst. Lynda will be sadly missed by her longtime cherished friend Lynn Cherry and Leanne Smith Cook and cherished neighbour to Leslie Haliday. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Adrian Bulfon and all the wonderful ER staff for their care and support and a very special thanks to Constable McPhee. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at Hawk Ridge Golf & Country Club, 1151 Hurlwood Lane, Severn, on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 1 - 4 pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Make a Wish Foundation (formerly Children's Wish Foundation) would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home, Orillia.
