October 14, 1936 ~ October 7, 2026

Peacefully at Trillium Manor, surrounded by family, just one week shy of her 90th birthday. Beloved wife of Homi Bam for 53 wonderful years. Loving and devoted mother to Stephen Hodgins (Jenny), Andrea Hurlbut (Tom), the late Drew Hodgins (Leigh), and Paula Montgomery (Don). Proud grandmother to Gwyneth (Clay), Evelyn (Niki), Neil (Elizabeth), Kirstin (Ernie), Cassidy (Adrian), Bethany (Josh), Douglas (Rebecca), Jordan (Jessica), Sam (Hilarie), and Alex (predeceased). Beloved great-grandmother to Sophia, Isabella, Elise, Piers, Finn, Lucy Mae, Alexia, Xavier, Sharlett, Mikayla. Born in Lorne Park, now part of Mississauga, to the late Bertram and Joan Hale. 

As per Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026, from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, details to come.
