Passed away surrounded by his family on Monday August 2, 2026 in his 90th year. Hugo, beloved husband of the late Ilse Marguerite Ruff (nee Tiefenbacher). Loving father of Ron Ruff and Sabine Harrington (Mark). Survived by son Tom Ruff and his family. Cherished grandfather of Jayden, Ryley, Alexandra and Melody. The family will receive friends at the Mudnell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Tuesday August 11, 2026 from 1 pm until time of service at 3 PM. Interment to follow at St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery, Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to the Mariposa House Hospice would be appreciated.
