Gail Rebecca Blackburn

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Gail Rebecca Blackburn on November 4, 2026, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of 63 years to David Steen. Loving & devoted mother to John and Tracy (Jeremy). Proud Nan to six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Norman & Dorothy Blackburn, dear sister to Norman (Chris), Ron (Margaret), and the late Leida (Gord). Dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends, and her favourite Sheltie companion, Beni.

As per Gail’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Canadian Lung Association in Gail’s memory.
