Buss; Carey Margaret

Passed away at Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Sunday August 9, 2026 at the age of 70. Carey, beloved daughter of the late Helen and David Buss. Loved sister of Lawrence Buss and Frank Buss. Cherished aunt of Michael Buss and Lauren Buss. Sadly missed by cousins and relatives. Carey touched many people and their lives in the 40 years spent at the Huronia Regional Centre then 20 years at Empower Simcoe Orillia. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, saying "hi" and "bye" and of course her pride and joy were her "Babies". A special thanks to the staff and doctors at Soldiers Memorial Hospital Memorial and the staff at Empower Simcoe Orillia Wellington St. They made her transition peaceful, keeping her comfortable and serene. Memorial visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Wednesday October 7, 2026 from 1 PM until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 2 PM. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery, Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to Empower Simcoe Orillia would be appreciated by the family.
