It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Alfred Timothy Naughton, on August 28, 2026, at home surrounded by family.

Loving husband of Bernice for nearly 60 wonderful years. Loving and devoted father to the late Dwayne Naughton, Denise Naughton (Mike Williams), and Sherry (Sandy) Charlton. Proud grandfather of Justin Naughton, Nicole (Warren) Beaule, Crystal Cole (Sean Cousens), Karlie Cole (Curt Carrière), Jessica Cole, and the late Tony Charlton; dear great-grandfather to Sawyer, James, and Grace.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Oncology Unit at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, and Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Orillia, as well as the team from Bayshore Healthcare for their continued guidance and support through this journey.

As per Alfred‘s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia. A private interment will be held at Saint Michael’s, Cemetery, Orillia, with a celebration of life at a later date.
