Broger; Ronald John (former principal Don Mills Collegiate Institute and George S. Henry Academy) Peacefully at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia, on Saturday, July 17, 2010. Predeceased by his wife Rita Desjardins and by his parents Alois and Wilhemina Broger. Dearly loved father of Laura, Paul, Bill, Carole and Shelagh. Grandpa to David, Erin, Leah, Olivia, Emily and Kevin, great-grandfather to Emma. He will be greatly missed by his sisters Minnie McCabe and Shirley May, his brother Eric Broger, his extended family and the mother of his children Carole McGinn. A well-respected educator, Ron will be fondly remembered by his friends and former colleagues. The family truly appreciates the kindness and support provided by Ron's caregivers at the Leacock Care Centre and by Happy at Home Support Services. Friends will be received at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St.,N., Orillia on Friday, July 23rd from 9:30 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 11 a.m.. A reception to follow.
