ETHIER, WILLIAM JOSEPH ("Bill") After a two year battle with cancer at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, July 6th, 2010, in his 87th year. Loving husband & best friend of Theresa (nee; Bernier) 3 days after celebrating their 62nd wedding anniversary. Bill is the cherished father of Sandra (Hank) deMunnik, Gerry (Cosmina) Ethier, Cheryl (Leonard) Hill. Bill is the loving "poppa" of Amy deMunnik & husband Colin Dennie, Christopher Ethier & fiancee Laura Domsy, Brunina Ethier, Lindsay & Adam Hill. Survived by one sister Theresa Smith of Windsor. Predeceased by seven sisters and two brothers. He will be sadly missed by his beloved cat Willie. The late Mr. William Ethier will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday, July 8th. Then to the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St. N., Orillia for Mass of Christian Burial on Friday morning, July 9th at 10 a.m. Parish Prayers will be said in the parlour Thursday evening at 6:45 p.m. Interment: St. Michael's Cemetery, Orillia.
