(Ret'd Superintendant of Education, Simcoe/Muskoka Catholic District School Board ; past member of the Orillia Y's Men's Club) Peacefully passed away at home, on Friday, July 2nd, 2010, in his 72nd year. Bill Murphy of Orillia, beloved husband of Lynne (nee McCarney). Loving father of Dennis & wife Lisa of Stittsville, Mary Kate Murphy & husband Rohan Vanigasooriyar of Toronto, Joe and wife Aroma of Sumatra, Indonesia and Ted (predeceased). Dearly loved grandfather of Daniel, Anna, Eamon, Taara (predeceased), Shaelyn, and Kirin Murphy, Alexandra and Gregory Vanigasooriyar. Brother of Mons. Dennis Murphy of North Bay, Joseph & wife Lettie of Newmarket, Mary Henderson & husband Don of Thunder Bay, Sister Norah Murphy of North Bay, Alice Givens & husband Robert of Barrie. Bill will also be lovingly remembered by the McCarney Family and many nieces and nephews. The late Mr. William (Bill) Murphy will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, Ont. (705) 325-2231 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Tuesday. Then to the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St. N., Orillia, for Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at 10 AM. Cremation will be followed by private interment at St. Michael's Cemetery, Orillia. Parish prayers will be said in the Mundell Chapel Tuesday evening at 6:45.
