Guy; George Duncan (V.P. Dorr Oliver Long) George was born June 8, 1916 at Winnipeg, Manitoba to the late George Lorne Guy and Marion Isobel Black. peacefully, at the Birchmere Retirement residence, Orillia, on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, the day following his 70th wedding anniversary. George is the beloved husband of Marion (nee Pack) and loved by his children Janet, Barbara (David) Temple. He leaves his grandchildren and great grandchildren Geoffrey (Shelagh) Farr, Anne, Henry; Sheila (John) Norman, Elizabeth, Emma, George; Juliet (Andrew) Saunders, Madeline, Charles, Chloe; Lindsey (Doug) Garrard, India, John; Craig (Gretchen) Farr, Gwyneth, Ewan, Bryce, Amaryn; David (Brenda) Temple. George was foremost a family man but enjoyed being a pilot, golfer, skier, sailor and curler. Friends and relatives are invited to meet the family at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St.,N., Orillia on Friday (today) from 5 - 7 p.m.. A Private Family service was held. Interment; St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery, Orillia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Orillia Soldier's Memorial Hospital or Charity of Ones Choice would be appreciated by the family.
