DEVENISH, Rodney Wayne - After a long and courageous battle with cancer, passed away with his family by his side at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Thursday, February 18, 2010 in his 66th year. Beloved son of Louise McCammon (Whitney) (both predeceased) and Alfred Devenish (Susan), Rod is survived by Jacqueline, his loving wife of 41 years and by his children Adam (Mark) and Kelly. Lovingly remembered by his sister Franci Ross (Ian), mother-in-law Marion Mills (George predeceased), brother-in-law Doug Mills, sister-in-law Gerri Todd (Andy), brother-in-law Ed Mills (Cindy) and sister-in-law Sherri Weld (Aidan) and his many nieces and nephews. Following cremation, visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Tuesday, February 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate Rod's life will take place in the chapel on Wednesday, February 24 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to RVH Regional Cancer Care Centre, Hospice Orillia or the Orillia SPCA.
