BALL, Genevieve Edna Ann (nee: Fyfe) After a lengthy illness, Genevieve passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, February 6, 2010. Genevieve, who was in her 80th year, is now with the Lord. Beloved wife of the late Malcolm Herbert Ball, predeceased 1978. Daughter of the late Alvin and Luella Fyfe of Orillia, Ontario. Cherished mother of Allan and his wife Bonna-Lynn Ball of Coldwater and Luanne and her husband Graeme Wood of Wyebridge. Much loved grandma of Glenn, Abigayle, Matthew, Evelyn and Timothy. She will be missed by her many cousins, friends and neighbours. Genevieve was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, a dedicated elementary school and music teacher, an avid gardener and an advocate of the value of agriculture and the family farm. Genevieve was an active community member, expressing sincere interest in the lives of others. The late Mrs. Ball will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Then to the Orillia Presbyterian Church, St. Andrew's, 99 Peter St. N., Orillia on Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 o'clock. Interment at St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery, Orillia.
